He puts on a performance for us which involves music and singing. Then, we pay a visit to Delhi's exhibitions on Parsi heritage, which explore Parsi culture, art and trade. We also meet author Amitav Ghosh, who tells us about the ways Parsi contributions have shaped the present-day India. Raghurajpur Art Village is a coy hamlet with mere 120 houses by the River Bhargavi in Odisha, famous for its ancient art of Pattachitra which dates back to 5th century BC. The village is a form of art itself as one can find beautiful paintings on the walls of every house. As we entered the village, we realized that all the houses in this village are an independent workshop where artisans by virtue of their ancestral inclination practice Pattachitra. Some of the other art forms include Jute Leaf engravings, Papier Mache masks and painting coconuts, metal utensils and glass bottles.
